With Spring here and the weather getting nicer (when we aren't having spring showers that is) I like to encourage my boys to play outside as much as possible. What better way to do that than with some outdoor toys. One that we just pulled out again is this Stomp Rocket. This is one we've had for awhile but my boys don't seem to tire of it. That's what I call a first-rate toy, one that just keeps the fun coming.
The nature of this toy, is that only one person at a time can use it. Of course we've had some struggles with this. I do think it's a great way for them to learn about cooperating in a group activity, as they wait for their turn. We've taken this with us to the park and there's always been other kids who have approached us and wanted a try, so it's also been a nice lesson in sharing with others.
